Because the outer "shell" of your nappy dries quicker than the snap in pad, it is possible to purchase additional booster pads to use whilst the others are drying. This means that you need to buy less "whole nappies" in order to have a functional full time stash. This is very useful in winter when the absorbent part of your nappies take a longer time to dry.
