I know..I was meant to be back after a day right??

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Well I kinda got distracted. My "other" job needed my attention as I was very busy working every day. I feel so appreciative to the Mr for working full time to pay the bills after doing it while he was on holidays. Keeping up with WeePantz was very difficult, but I did have a successful market in Mornington in the middle of it all.

I also had my birthday on Friday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!) and I was so very humbled by receiving a beautiful bunch of roses and a new camera from my family. 

Anyway. I pledged on Jan 2nd that I was going to do Photo a Day this year. I've since decided that its difficult for me to keep up with a photo a day, so I will do a weekly post with my 7 photos from that week… It will give me an excuse to play with and practice with my new camera!

So from now on, Mondays will be Photo of the Week Day here on the blog. 

Off to work tonight again before a much deserved day off tomorrow which means one thing for me right now… SEWING!! I am hanging out to do some sewing because I havent done any in a week. I also promised my 2 nephews night nappies (they are keen for pirates & Harry Potter) and the Mr work shorts so I'll get some piccies on here of that!

I've also got some yummy new fabric sitting in my sewing room waiting to be cut & sewn into nappies, bibs and also a new exciting product for WeePantz, hopefully being launched in the next few weeks.

I'm a couple of days late, but Merry Christmas to you all!

   

I am having one last day off from sewing before starting to prepare for 2012 & the markets I have booked for January.

Thanks very much to you all for reading my blog & for supporting my products, meaning I have an excuse to make them! I also want to thank everyone  for making the move with me over to this new blog too.

I hope your day was merry, ours was lovely and relaxing watching the kids play with their new toys & eating together as a family (something that doesn't happen much because we both work crazy hours)

I'll be back tomorrow with some news about a new product too :)

Happy Christmas Eve Eve to you all.

I have been cooking up a storm today as well as cleaning like crazy!

My Christmas gift to myself is a house I don’t feel like I have to clean on the day so I can play with my kids, relax & sit with a glass of bubbles without feeling guilty.

Today I made delicious red velvet cheesecake brownies. Look good huh?

Mmmm baking here today! It was Miss R's last day of school, so after she finished, we picked up Mr O and headed home to make my Gran's Mushroom's.

It's a tradition in our family to have these at Christmas. I LOOOVEEE them! Apparently Mr O does too!

   

Can you believe he actually fitted a whole one in his mouth at one time, he couldn't get enough in!!

I love Christmas! I can't wait to spend the day at home with my little family and have a beautiful day :)

We are pretty much singing this song non-stop at our place at the moment. Miss R is singing it for her School Christmas Carols on Tuesday. I must say this is one of my favourite Christmas Carols, and remember singing it in school myself.

Advent Day 14

As Sunday's market has been cancelled by the organiser, Saturday's market in Yarraville will be my last for 2011. 

There will be loads of beautiful handmade items, for mums, dads, grandparents, kids & of course loads of WeePantz for the babies (or if you are a nappy addict like myself, MCN is actually a gift for you!).

I'll have lots of Christmas stock with me, there'll even be a facepainter on site & there'll be plenty of handmade Christmas presents to be bought!

I hope to see you there, I'll be there with bells on!

Today I am snapping, pinning & sewing my way into order completion. 

  

 

The studio looks somewhat neat still (a miracle given since I am just so amazingly organised all of the time) and I am chipping away at my to do list.
